Objectives
The course aims to address the relationship between the museum space, the exhibition contents and the exhibit design: organization of space, coordination of texts, images, materials, communication technologies .
With reference to the innovative examples in the history of twentieth-century museums (Scarpa, Albini, BBPR) and those of the last decades (Studio Azzurro), we want to investigate the methodologies of the exhibit design; without neglecting that it is a constantly evolving sector in which culture of design and architecture project, graphic project, multimedia project, plant design overlap. New technologies and constantly evolving digital media make it possible to widen the boundaries of architectural space. These, acting on the methods of fruition of the same, open to new modes of knowledge, additional to those related to the traditional disciplines of exhibit design and museography.
