Knowledge and understanding
Know and understand CT and MRI brain and spine anatomy; normal and pathological imaging findings; applications and indications to CT and MRI brain and spine.
Applying knowledge and understanding
know and understand the correct path in relation to the objectives.
Participate with own specific expertise in the design of a rehabilitation program in collaboration with other health professionals. Define the contingency plan in relation to objectives.
Acquire the ability to communicate information, problems and solutions with the team members, patients and families
Critically analyze the specific clinical problems and find possible solutions to them.
Prior knowledge of anatomy of the central and peripheral nervous system; basic CT and MRI physical principles; MRI semeiotical MRI signal is suggested to reach a fruitful course attendance.
The integrated course consists of 3 modules:
Neuroradiology with 8 hours of lectures
Intereventistic radiology and senology with 16h
Senology tecnique: 8 h
The integrated course program divided for different modules is:
2ischemic and hemorragic brain pathology
4 brain infections
5brain and spine trauma
6 brain tumors
7 white matter brain desease
Lectures, interactive lessons using different images and Videos sources
Verification of learning
Written and oral intermediate evaluation of the acquired skills and oral final examination.
Written and/or oral final examination of the acquired skills, knowledge of radiological language, exhibition capacity by commenting on any radiological images and pharmacology.
From the final and intermediate evaluations are evaluated the following:
- notions capture
- pertinence of the language
- analysis of the perspective, needs and resources of the analyzed context
- identification of the objectives
- capacity to put in relation concept and knowledge
- explanatory ability
