Objectives

to know and respect the role and the specific skills and those of the assistance team establishing relationships, participating in the activities and making constructive contributions.
Identify the physical, psychological and social needs of the person in the different ages of life, integrating theoretical knowledge with practical ones.
Demonstrate ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with assisted persons, with their family and / or with those close to the patient.

Implement the nursing assistance activities foreseen in the traineeship plan.

Contents

The laboratory activity is preparatory to the internship and includes exercises on simulator in order to facilitate the insertion in the operative units where the first cycle of practical learning will take place (wards of ordinary medical and surgical hospital and Outpatient Services The contents of the gestural laboratories are

The contents of the Internship
Implement data collection and identify patient needs

Teaching Methods

The methodologies foreseen in the laboratory and during the internship include

Methods and techniques of didactic interaction during the internship
The internship represents a privileged and irreplaceable way to learn the professional role, through the practical experimentation and the integration of the theoretical-disciplinary knowledge with the professional and organizational operative practice.
In order to promote the clinical teaching and the verification of the attainment of the objectives, the tutorial figures and the student have at their disposal an evaluation card in which the objectives and criteria to be used are enunciated. The cards are compiled by the internship assistant in the presence of the student and then delivered to the Professional Activity Coordinator at the end of each cycle.
The frequency is monitored by a signature sheet compiled daily by the student and validated by the head of the head of the operative unit.

Verification of learning

The evaluation examines the entire training course of laboratory and internship and the elaborate.
The internship exam includes a written test and a practical test and is expressed in thirtieth.
A) Written: clinical case chosen between clinical cases and/or assistential situations relevant to the educational programs of 1 and 2 years, the student will have to analyse and develop in all its parts using one printed to predefined fields.

The time allotted to the written test is 120 minutes.

Practice: Practical execution of one or two procedures the student will be assessed on skills and abilities in selecting and preparing the material, informing and preparing the patient, performing the procedure or collaborating with the physician during the execution, Plan and perform subsequent checks.

The exam is considered passed if the student reaches a minimum level foreseen in all the tests
