Objectives

Skeletal Muscle Course includes the following modules:
- Orthopaedics (MED/33)
- Physical medicine and Rehabilitation MED/34)

The course has the goal to give to the students the accurate knowledges of diagnosis and treatment of both congenital and acquired articular and skeletomotor diseases. In particular, it will be analysed the ethiopathogenesis and phisiophatology of the main skeletomotor diseases, the principles of treatment from a pharmacological, rehabilitation or surgical point of view.

Having passed the following C.I. : HUMAN ANATOMY, PHISIOLOGY, GENERAL PATHOLOGY

ORTHOPAEDICS 4 CFU (MED/33) This part is divided in 4 main areas: evolutionary age skeletal diseases. 2) Degenerative articular diseases of the adults. 3) Hand diseases. 4) traumatology
PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION 1 CFU (MED/34)
The program includes: rehabilitation project, exercise therapy, physical therapy, orthesis and limb prosthesis

Teaching Methods

ORTHOPAEDICS: Oral lessons FOR 32 HOURS. PRACTICAL TRAINING FOR 12 HOURS.
PHYSICAL MEDICINE AND REHABILITATION. ORAL LESSONS FOR 8 HOURS.

Verification of learning

Written tests + final oral test. The final VOTE is expressed in 30/30 and it is the result of the average of every examination form.
