Objectives
Students will acquire an indepth knowledge of Russian poetry from the 18th century to the present. Students will also significantly refine their textual interpretation skills.
Prerequisites
Previous knowledge of Russian is not a prerequisite. All texts will be available in both Russian and Italian.
Contents
The first classes will be devoted to developing skills in reading and interpreting poetic texts. The following classes will focus on textual reading and interpretation.
Teaching Methods
The course is conceived as a series of seminars, in which students will interact with the lecturer and with each other.
Verification of learning
Oral examination in Italian. The focus will be on both literary history and interpretation skills.
